EXAMPLE PARAGRAPH

The late-night commotion from next door was a constant source of frustration. A persistent thumping bass vibrated through the walls, accompanied by the racket of shouting and laughter. Occasionally, blaring music would erupt, making sleep nearly impossible. Even when the overt noise subsided, a low humming from some unseen appliance or perhaps a distant air conditioner seemed to permeate the silence, a constant reminder of the disturbances.
